Rules and Regulations
- The entire facilities of the Association are under the direct control and supervision of the lifeguards. The lifeguards have been instructed to enforce all rules and regulations, and are authorized to temporarily suspend pool privileges of anyone who violates the rules and regulations or anyone whose conduct in the lifeguard’s opinion is not in the best interest of the Association. Suspensions resulting from a serious infraction of the rules and regulations or continuous discipline problems shall be reported in writing to the President and/or the Board of Directors; who must approve reinstatement of the suspended person’s pool privileges. Suspensions resulting from minor infractions shall also be reported in writing, however, the length of suspension shall be set by the lifeguard not to exceed five days.
- Members are expected to cooperate and abide by the lifeguards decisions. Members are not permitted to interfere with, or reprimand lifeguards, or other employees of the Association. If a conflict should arise, members should advise the President or the Board of Directors.
- The required membership fees, annual dues, and charges (including delinquent charges) must be paid in full prior to using the Association’s facilities.
- Entrance to the pool is by means of a membership card, which has been issued to each member. For your convenience, should you forget your card, you may sign in twice during the summer. Should you lose your card, another one may be obtained by giving the gate guard your name and $5.00.
- In case of inclement weather, the lifeguard may close the pool.
- The association will not be responsible for any money or property losses sustained by members and their guests.
- Members and guests shall operate their motor vehicles in a safe manner at all times on Association property, and park them in an orderly fashion so as not to obstruct any driveway area.
- The operation of trail bikes, ATV’s, and scooters is prohibited on Association property. Bicycles are permitted for use to and from the pool and are to be parked in the bicycle rack provided near the front gate.
- The possession or use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the property of the Association.
- Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests and should advise them of our rules and regulations. Fees for all guests are $3.00 for weekdays and $5.00 for Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Children 3 years and under are admitted free. Those guests who live within 2 driving miles of the pool are limited to 2 visits per month. Members with guests who are from out-of town and staying for extended periods may seek fee adjustments by the Board of Directors. All guests must be accompanied by a member when using the pool.
- Smoking will be permitted in designated areas.
- Children under 1- years of age must be accompanied by their parents or other responsible person 13 years or older to whom the parent has delegated this responsibility and maintain direct supervision inside the immediate pool enclosure.
- The fees for all guests are $3.00 for weekdays and $5.00 for Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Children 3 years and under are admitted free. Those guests who live within 2 driving miles of the pool are limited to 2 visits per month. Members with guests who are from out-of town and staying for extended periods may seek fee adjustments by the Board of Directors. All guests must be accompanied by a member when using the pool.
- The lifeguards will exercise general supervision over the wading pool, but are not responsible for anyone inside the wading pool enclosure. The wading pool should not be used by anyone over 5 years of age. Children using the wading pool must be accompanied by their parents or other responsible person 13 years or older to whom the parent has delegated this responsibility.
- The following rules apply to the deep end of the pool:
- Non-swimmers are not allowed in the deep end
- No swimming in front of the diving board
- One person on the diving board at a time
- No hanging from the end of the diving board
- No excessive springing of the diving board
- No balls, toys, masks, etc.
- No diving off of the lifeguard stand
- No one over 250 lb. permitted on the diving board
- Running, pushing, rough play, and any unsafe or annoying practices are prohibited.
- The loud laying of radios at times becomes annoying to others, therefore, the lifeguards will regulate volume levels on radios.
- The use of offensive or profane language is prohibited.
- Approved life jackets or children’s swimming rings may be used only with adult supervision in all areas of the pool. No metallic toys, water rings, air floats, facemasks that cover the nose, or other toys that lifeguards feel are unsafe, will be allowed in the pool. Air floats, goggles, flippers, and light plastic beach balls may be used with lifeguard’s approval.
- All persons will leave the pool immediately in the event of an emergency. The sign for this is 3 blasts of the lifeguards whistle.
- There will be an adult swim each hour at 15 minutes to the hour and last for 15 minutes.
